Nancy Ellen Dewhitt

Nancy Ellen was born on January 30th, 1890 in Elk Falls, Elk Co, KS.¹ Nancy Ellen's father was William Ashbury Dewhitt and her mother was Lydia Anna Wall. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Henry Wall and Eliza Reed Grant. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Samuel G., Joseph Henry, Alan Wakefield, William Willard, Clyde, Florence Estelle, Eliza Elizabeth, Mary Etta, Anna Evaline and Leuna Iona. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 85 on December 10th, 1975 in Chicago, Cook Co, IL. She was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Chicago, Cook Co, IL.¹
