Corena Nevada Pitts 
Corena Nevada was born on August 4th, 1869 in Benton County, Iowa.1 Corena Nevada's father was Cadwallader Jones Pitts and her mother was Susan Jane Bryson. Her paternal grandparents were Cadwallader Pitts and Elizabeth Stanley; her maternal grandparents were John Fielding Bryson and Ellizabeth Sparger. She had six brothers and five sisters, named John Francis, Emery Franklin, Thomas Adolphus, Oliver Cromwell, Wilbern (William) Perry, C. Benjamin, Mary Eliza, Elizabeth Jane, Sarah Melissa, Nora Isabelle and Josephine May. She was the second youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 75 in 1944.1 -
