Susan Jane Bryson 
Susan Jane was born on February 18th, 1827 in Sumner County, Tennessee.1 Susan Jane's father was John Fielding Bryson and her mother was Ellizabeth Sparger. Her paternal grandparents were James Bryson and Margaret Bryson. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Lewis W., John, William G., Joseph, Henry Franklin, Nathaniel Green, Lucinda, Charlotte H., Malvina Minerva and Mary Eliza. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 46 on February 24th, 1873 in Vinton, Iowa.1 -
