Thomas Werner was born on March 30th, 1814 in Pardubice, Kostenice, , Bohemia. Thomas Werner's father was Josef Tepley and his mother was Maria Trumpf. His paternal grandparents were Johann Tepley and Maria Olesinsky; his maternal grandparents are Erhardt Trumpf and Wilhelmina Schwanitz. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Philip, Friedhelm, Gertrud, Marie Irene and Grete Maria. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 67 on July 1st, 1881 in , Kostenice, , Bohemia.-
