Margaret Threlkeld

Margaret was born in 1459 in Threlkeld, Cumberland, England.¹ Margaret's father was Lancelot Threlkeld and her mother was Margaret Bromflete. Her paternal grandparents were Henry De Threlkeld and Margaret Thornburgh; her maternal grandparents were Henry Bromflete and Eleanor Fitzhugh. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Lancelot, Christopher, Lancelot, Christopher, Ann, Margaret, Jane, Elizabeth and Jane. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Henry, Henrico Clifford, Richard, Robert, Thomas and Elizabeth.
