Christopher Threlkeld

Christopher was born in 1471 in Threlkeld, Cumberland, England.¹ Christopher's father was Lancelot Threlkeld and his mother was Margaret Bromflete. His paternal grandparents were Henry De Threlkeld and Margaret Thornburgh; his maternal grandparents were Henry Bromflete and Eleanor Fitzhugh. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Lancelot, Christopher, Lancelot, Ann, Margaret, Margaret, Jane, Elizabeth and Jane. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Henry, Henrico Clifford, Richard, Robert, Thomas and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 68 on December 6th, 1539 in Y.¹
