Miriam was born on October 12th, 1768 in Green, TN, USA.1 Miriam's father was Josiah Leath and her mother was Elizabeth Jobe. Her paternal grandparents were George Leith and Miriam; her maternal grandparents were Caleb Jobe and Barbara Barbary. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Josiah, George, Ebenezer, James, Elizabeth and Barbara. She was the oldest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jeremiah, Samuel and Polly. She died at the age of 76 in June 1845 in Marion, TN, USA.1 -
