James Leath 
James was born in 1784 in Green, TN, USA.1 James' father was Josiah Leath and his mother was Elizabeth Jobe. His paternal grandparents were George Leith and Miriam; his maternal grandparents were Caleb Jobe and Barbara Barbary. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Josiah, George, Ebenezer, Miriam, Elizabeth and Barbara. He was the youngest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jeremiah, Samuel and Polly. He died at the age of 76 in 1860 in Rusk, TX, USA.1 -
