Josiah Leath 
Josiah was born in 1746 in Frederick, VA, USA.1 Josiah's father was George Leith and his mother was Miriam. His paternal grandfather was James Leath. He had two brothers and five sisters, named George, Ebenezer, Elizabeth, Ann, Grace, Rachel and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 68 in 1814 in Jefferson, TN, USA.1 
Josiah and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony in 1767 in Agusta, VA, USA.1 They had four sons and three daughters, named Josiah, George, Ebenezer, James, Miriam, Elizabeth and Barbara.
