Her paternal grandparents were William Stronghand d'Aubigny Earl of Arundel, Lincoln and Sussex and Adeliza De Brabant [Queen 0f England]; her maternal grandparents were James Sidonis de St. Hilary Lord and Aveline de St. Hilary. She had four brothers and two sisters, named William III, Hugh II, Alan, Godfrey, Avice Agnes de Arundel and Joan. She had five half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Richard "Strongbow" 4th Earl, Richard (Sir) 6th Earl, James de, Roger de, Henry de, Mabel de, Maud Matilda de, Joane de, Elena de, Aveline de, Aveline, Eveline (Aveline) de ' and Mabel.
