Ives (Ivo) de was born in 1022 in Yorkshire, England.1   Ives (Ivo) de's father was Geoffroy II "Ferreol" Count of Gatinais and his mother was Ermengarde Countess & Gastinois d' Anjou.  His paternal grandparents were Geoffroy I "Ferreol" Count of Gatinais and Beatrix de Macon Countess; his maternal grandparents were Ct. (Fulk) "the Black" Comte d' Anjou (Le Noir (the Black)) Foulques III and of Lorraine Countess of Anjou Hildegarde. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Geoffroy III Count, Count Le Barbu, TheRude, Count Of Anjou, Hildegarde and De Gastinois.  He was the oldest of the six children. He had eight half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Hugues Prince Of, Duke Of Rainault Henri, Robert Prince Of, Simon Prince O f, Henry De, Robert De, Simon De, Hughes De, Duchess Of Burgandy, Hildegarde Princess France Countess, Aldegarde De, Constance De and Hildegarde De.  He died at the age of 72 in 1094 in Kendal, Cambria, England.2
