Adelais (Adelaide) of Vermandois was born about 0950 in Vermandois, Aisne, Picardy, France.1   Adelais (Adelaide) of Vermandois' father was Ct. Robert I Count of Meaux & Troyes and her mother was Adelaide of Burgundy.  Her paternal grandparents were Ct. Herbert II Count of Troyes & Vermandois and Princess Princess Of France Hildebrante; her maternal grandfather was Gilbert of Chalon , Duke of Burgundy and her maternal grandmother is Daughter of Burgundy. She had a sister named Adelais de.  She was the older of the two children. She had two half-sisters named Maud (Matilda\Mahaut) de and Elizabeth de.  She died about 0975.1

‌Adelais (Adelaide) of Vermandois and Grisegonnelle (grey mantle) were married in a religious ceremony in 0965 in France.1   They had a son and three daughters, named Le Noir (the Black), Ermengarde, of Anjou and Adelaide d'.
