Ela "The Younger" was born about 1215 in <, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England>.1   Ela "The Younger"'s father was William Longespee , Earl of Salisbury and her mother was Joan de Salisbury.  Her paternal grandparents were "Curt Mantel" King of England Henry II and Annabel Balliol; her maternal grandparents were William Fitzpatrick and Eleanor (Alianore) De Vitre. She had five half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named William, Richard, Stephen, Nicholas, s Earl of Ulster, Ela, Isabel, Petronilla, Isa, Ida (Idonea) "Camvile", Lora and Ela.  She died on February 8th, 1297 in Oseney Abbey, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.  She was buried in Oseney Abbey, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 1
