George Hobson 
George was born on June 5th, 1791 in ,Surry,Nc. George's father was Stephen Hobson and his mother was Rachel Vestal. His paternal grandparents were Stephen Hobson and Ann Barnes; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Vestal and Elizabeth Davis. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, David, Thomas, Stephen, Isaac, Anne and Elizabeth. He is the third oldest of the eight children.-
