Thomas Vestal 
Thomas was born on September 8th, 1727 in ,Chester Co., Pa. Thomas' father was William Vestal and his mother was Elizabeth Mercer. His paternal grandparents were William Vestal and Alice Brunsden Glover; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Mercer and Mary Greenway Immigrant. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, William, James, David, Mary and Jemima. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 85 on June 12th, 1813 in Cane Creek, Chatham Co., Nc.-
