King was born on May 15th, 1008 in Bourgogne, France.1   King's father was "The Pious" King Of France Robert II and his mother was Constance de Toulouse.  His paternal grandparents were , King of France Capet Hugh and Adelaide of Poitou Princess of Aquitaine; his maternal grandparents were William I Count of Provence and Adelaide (Blanche) de Anjou. He had three brothers and four sisters, named "The Grand" France, Duke of Burgundy, Eudo [Odes] Prince, Adelaide Havoise Princess Of, Adaele (Alix) of France, Capet de France and Havoise (Adelaide) of France. He had a half-sibling of unknown gender named Living.  He died at the age of 52 on August 4th, 1060 in Vitry-on-Brie, France.  He was buried in St. Denis.1 1
