Rachel SMITH 
Rachel was born in 1782 in Sussex, NJ. Rachel's father was Thompson SMITH and her mother was Rachel BRILES. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Eleazar, Jacob, Moses, Thompson, Martha, Mary, Leah and John. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 78 in 1860 in Monroe, KY.
‌Rachel and Joshua were married in a religious ceremony about 1799. They had five sons and six daughters, named Thompson, Jacob S., Ralph P., Joshua C., James W., Leah, Mary, Rachel, Martha, Ruth and Margaret.

Ruth WELBORN
Ruth was born on October 13th, 1814 in , Barren, KY. She died at the age of 90 on September 17th, 1905.
Joshua C. WELBORN
Joshua C. was born about 1827 in , Monroe, KY. He died before November 1854 in , Tate, MS.
