James William Greer 
James William was born on June 26th, 1853 in BARREN CO, KY. James William's father was James GREER and his mother was Elizabeth J. GREER. His paternal grandparents were Isaiah GREER and Johannah SAUNDERS; his maternal grandfather was Matthew GREER and his maternal grandmother is Rhoda CHAMBERS. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Pleasant, Mathew, Sarah A., Charlotte, Ellen and ELIZEBETH (Lizzie). He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers named Wilburn Woodard and Harry C.. He died at the age of 46 on June 18th, 1900 in Etoile, Barren, KY. He was buried in Belle Cemetery, Greer Farm, Etoile, KY.-
