Elizabeth was born about 1313 in Castle Badlesmere, Kent, England.  Elizabeth's father was Bartholomew V de Badlesmere and her mother was Margaret de Clare.  Her paternal grandparents were Gunceline de Badlesmere and Joan FitzBernard; her maternal grandparents were Thomas de Clare and Juliane FitzMaurice Fitzgerald of Offaly. She had a brother and three sisters, named Giles, Joane, Margery and Margaret.  She was the second youngest of the five children.  She died on June 8th, 1356.


Elizabeth's first family with Edmund de Mortimer

‌Elizabeth and Edmund were married in a religious ceremony on June 27th, 1316.  They had two sons named Roger and John.


Elizabeth's second family with William de Braose

‌Elizabeth and William were married in a religious ceremony after November 1330.


Elizabeth's third family with William de Bohun

‌Elizabeth and William were married in a religious ceremony in Castle Badlesmere, Kent, England.  They had a son and a daughter, named Humphrey IX and Elizabeth.
