Luvernia Elizabeth was born on October 17th, 1876. Luvernia Elizabeth's father was John Shaver and her mother was Mahala Harper. Her paternal grandparents were Paul Shaver and Mary Runyon. She had ten brothers and six sisters, named George Worthy, William Henry, Andrew Phillip, Leweran, Stillborn Infant, Jesse Milton, Ollie May, Romeo Freer, Stillborn Infant, Noah, Mary Catherine, Ada Emeline, Martha Jane, Rachel Ann, Armenta and Flora Belle.
