John de Beauchamp of was born in 1245 in Elmley Castle, Elmley, Worcestershire, England. John de Beauchamp of's father was William de Beauchamp and his mother was Iodonea Longespee. His paternal grandfather was Simon II de Beauchamp; his maternal grandparents were William I Longespee and Ela FitzPatrick de Salisbury. He had two brothers and a sister, named Simon, William and Ella. He had two half-sisters named Beatrix and Maud (Matilda). He died at the age of 53 in 1298.-
