Catherine was born in August 1540 in Dorset House, Westminster, England.  Catherine's father was Henry Grey and her mother was Frances Brandon.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas II Grey and Margaret Wotton; her maternal grandparents were Charles Brandon and Mary Tudor. She had two sisters named Jane and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had a half-sister named Elizabeth.  She died in Cockfield Hall, Oxford, Suffolk, England.  She was buried in Salisbury Cathedral, Wiltshire, England.


Catherine's first family with Henry Herbert

‌Catherine and Henry were married in a religious ceremony on May 21st, 1553.  Their marriage was annulled.


Catherine's second family with Edward Seymour

‌Catherine and Edward were married in a religious ceremony in November 1560 in Hertford House, Cannon Row, Westminster, England.  Their marriage was annulled.  They had two sons named Edward Beauchamp and Thomas.
