Thomas I was born in Groby, Leicestershire, England.  Thomas I's father was John Grey and his mother was Elizabeth Woodville.  His paternal grandparents were Edward Grey and Elizabeth Ferrers de Ruthyn of Groby; his maternal grandparents were Richard Wydeville and Jacquetta de St. Pol of Luxemburg. He had a brother named Richard. He had three half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Edward V the Boy King of, Richard Plantagenet of, George, Mary, Margaret, Anne, Catherine, Bridget, Elizabeth Plantagenet of and Cicely.  He died on August 30th, 1501 in Astley, Warwickshire, England.  He was buried in Astley, Warwickshire, England.
