Catherine de Valois was born on October 27th, 1401 in H'otel de St. Pol, Paris, France.  Catherine de Valois' father is Charles VI the Beloved de Valois and her mother was Isabella Wittelsbach.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles V the Wise de Valois of France and Joan de Bourbon; her maternal grandfather was Albert Wittelsbach. She had two brothers and a sister, named Charles, Charles VII the Victorious of and Joanna.  She was the second youngest of the four children.  She died in Abbey of St. Saviour, Bermondsey, London, England.
