Augusta Georgia was born on January 9th, 1854 in Cherokee Co., Alabama.1 Augusta Georgia's father was Lemuel Jackson Standifer and her mother was Sarah Frances Underwood. Her maternal grandfather was William Henderson Underwood and her maternal grandmother is Virginia O'Ferrall. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William Henderson, Walter Scott, John Henry Milner, Leona Nancy, Ella Virginia, Julia Florence and Ada Eugenia.
