William Henderson Underwood 
William Henderson was born in 1779.1 William Henderson's father was Joseph D. Underwood and his mother was Nancy Henderson. His paternal grandparents were Nathan,Jr. Underwood and Elizabeth Anderson. He had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Aaron, George B., Joseph D., Jr., Reuben Isam, William H., Elizabeth, Sarah, Anna and Mary. He died at the age of 80 in 1859.1 General Notes
