Emery Garfield Shrewsbury 
Emery Garfield was born on May 26th, 1910.1 Emery Garfield's father was Straley Harold Wilson Shrewsbury and his mother was Lillie Mae Basham. His maternal grandparents were Lewis Allen Basham and Mary Francis Shutt. He had a brother and three sisters, named Daynard Hyle, Wootsie Gladis, Goldie Blanche and Mabel Frances. He was the second oldest of the five children. He had a half-sister named Cletus Ray. He died at the age of 62 on February 7th, 1973.1 General Notes
