Mabel Frances was born on December 6th, 1919.1 Mabel Frances' father was Straley Harold Wilson Shrewsbury and her mother was Lillie Mae Basham. Her maternal grandparents were Lewis Allen Basham and Mary Francis Shutt. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Emery Garfield, Daynard Hyle, Wootsie Gladis and Goldie Blanche. She is the second youngest of the five children. She had a half-sister named Cletus Ray.General Notes
