Goldie Blanche was born on February 19th, 1913.1 Goldie Blanche's father was Straley Harold Wilson Shrewsbury and her mother was Lillie Mae Basham. Her maternal grandparents were Lewis Allen Basham and Mary Francis Shutt. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Emery Garfield, Daynard Hyle, Wootsie Gladis and Mabel Frances. She is the third oldest of the five children. She had a half-sister named Cletus Ray.General Notes
