Andrew Jackson Ponder 
Andrew Jackson was born on April 17th, 1852.1 Andrew Jackson's father was John W. Ponder and his mother was Winney Norwood. His maternal grandparents were Samuel Porter Norwood and Elizabeth Underwood. He had two brothers and a sister, named Abner, Lafayette and Opal. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had five half-brothers named William Coke, Reuben Franklin, Benjamin Telfair, Samuel Joshua and Joseph Solomon. He died at the age of 47 on June 17th, 1899.1 General Notes
