Joseph Solomon Crook 
Joseph Solomon was born on August 11th, 1843.1 Joseph Solomon's father was Joseph Crook and his mother was Winney Norwood. His maternal grandparents were Samuel Porter Norwood and Elizabeth Underwood. He had four brothers named William Coke, Reuben Franklin, Benjamin Telfair and Samuel Joshua. He was the youngest of the five children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Abner, Andrew Jackson, Lafayette and Opal. He died at the age of 47 on August 26th, 1890.1 General Notes
