Lillie Lucille was born on March 21st, 1882 in McLeansboro, Hamilton Co., Illinois.1 Lillie Lucille's father was Samuel Porter Hill and her mother was Pernecy Wheeler. Her maternal grandparents were Robert L.Wheeler and Mariah Elizabeth Campbell. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Mathew, Austin Leon, Walter Scott, William Lawner, Arabella, Olive Octavia, Mattie Mariah, Lulu May and Gracie Pearl. She was the youngest of the ten children. She had two half-brothers named Robert Marion and John Marshall. She died at the age of 83 on September 25th, 1965 in Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas.1 General Notes
