Murl May Gallion 
Murl May was born on October 3rd, 1903 in McLeansboro, Hamilton Co., Illinois.1 Murl May's father was Claude Oscar Gallion and her mother was Lillie Lucille Hill. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Porter Hill and Pernecy Wheeler. She had two brothers and a sister, named Royal Raymond, Paul Vernon and Mildred Louisa. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 83 on December 25th, 1986.1 General Notes
