Emma Counts 
Emma was born about September 1879 in Marshall Co., Tennessee.1 Emma's father was Hasten Alexander Counts and her mother was Henrietta Virginia McAdams. Her paternal grandparents were George Counts and Nancy Matthews; her maternal grandparents were Alexander Davidson McAdams and Nancy A. Nelson. She had six brothers and a sister, named James L., William D., Yancy Claude, Isaac McAdams, Walter Lee, Grover Cleveland and Nancy Ann. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
