William D. Counts 
William D. was born on August 22nd, 1873 in Marshall Co., Tennessee.1 William D.'s father was Hasten Alexander Counts and his mother was Henrietta Virginia McAdams. His paternal grandparents were George Counts and Nancy Matthews; his maternal grandparents were Alexander Davidson McAdams and Nancy A. Nelson. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James L., Yancy Claude, Isaac McAdams, Walter Lee, Grover Cleveland, Emma and Nancy Ann. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 20 on March 21st, 1894 in Hunt Co., Texas.1 General Notes
