Thomas Lane Basham 
Thomas Lane was born on January 25th, 1871 in Arkansas.1 Thomas Lane's father was Joseph P. Basham and his mother was Mary Jane Morris. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Delilah Payne. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Joseph Lawrence, James 'Alvin', Jesse Isaac, C. B., Marian Clinton, Frederick Fenton, Sarah Delilah, Nannie Bell, Mary Lou 'Visa', Martha Adela, Alice Clementine (Tiny) and Ruth Amazon. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Henry Jonathan, William O. (Rev), James, John, Samuel, Elizabeth Ellen, Abigail Suretha, Katie, Donana A. (Donnie) and Minnie L.. He died at the age of 65 on March 15th, 1936 in Eastland Co., Texas.1 General Notes
