Joseph Lawrence Basham 
Joseph Lawrence was born about 1867 in Arkansas.1 Joseph Lawrence's father was Joseph P. Basham and his mother was Mary Jane Morris. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Delilah Payne. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Thomas Lane, James 'Alvin', Jesse Isaac, C. B., Marian Clinton, Frederick Fenton, Sarah Delilah, Nannie Bell, Mary Lou 'Visa', Martha Adela, Alice Clementine (Tiny) and Ruth Amazon. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Henry Jonathan, William O. (Rev), James, John, Samuel, Elizabeth Ellen, Abigail Suretha, Katie, Donana A. (Donnie) and Minnie L..
