Martin Robert Allen 
Martin Robert was born in 1844 in Texas.1 Martin Robert's father was Benjamin J. Allen and his mother was Martha McNutt. His paternal grandparents were Martin C. Allen and Elizabeth Vice; his maternal grandparents were Robert Blaine,Major McNutt and Mary Polly Jackson. He had three brothers and a sister, named William Brice, T. Horton, Benjamin Patterson and Annie Caroline. He was the oldest of the five children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James B., Joseph B., J. Miles, Nancy Jane and Frances Catherine. He died at the age of 67 on October 28th, 1911 in Texas. He was buried in Saul Cemetery, Hutto, Williamson Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
