Ada Allen 
Ada was born on April 2nd, 1893 in Wallis, Austin Co., Texas.1 Ada's father was Miles Johnson Allen and her mother was Nora Weaver. Her paternal grandparents were James William Allen and Penelope Johnston; her maternal grandparents are J. E. Weaver and Nancy Unknown. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Peter Benjamin, Miles Newton, Howard Johnson, Daisie, Lottie, Winnie and Etta. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 88 on June 9th, 1981 in Galveston, Galveston Co., Texas. She was buried in Wallis Public Cemetery, Wallis, Austin co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
