Howard Johnson was born on July 29th, 1904 in Wallis, Austin, TX, USA.1 Howard Johnson's father was Miles Johnson Allen and his mother was Nora Weaver. His paternal grandparents were James William Allen and Penelope Johnston; his maternal grandparents are J. E. Weaver and Nancy Unknown. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Peter Benjamin, Miles Newton, Daisie, Lottie, Winnie, Ada and Etta. He was the youngest of the eight children.
