Matilda Maud Of was born in June 1156 in Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, England and her baptism took place in Aldgate, London, Middlesex, England.  Matilda Maud Of's father was Henry Plantagenet and her mother was Eleanor Aquitaine.  Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey Plantagenet and Matilda UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were Guillaume William X Of Aquitaine and Eleanor De Chtellerault. She had a brother and a sister, named John and Eleanor Princess Of.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named William I, Agnes Capet Princess Of, Marie Capet Princess Of and Alix Alisa Princess Of.  She died at the age of 33 on July 28th, 1189 in Brunswick, Germany.  She was buried in St Blasius, Braunschweig, Braunschweig, Germany.
