Henrik Voor Heyzen was born on February 4th, 1731 in Bergen, Bergen, Nj and his baptism took place on February 14th, 1731 in Hackensack, Bergen, Dutch Ref. Ch, N.J. Henrik Voor Heyzen's father was Lucas Van Voorhees and his mother was Annatie Kip. His paternal grandparents were Albert Van Voorhees and Magdaleena (Helena) Van Der Schure; his maternal grandparents were Nicasius KIP and Annetje (Antie) Breyandt. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Albert, Catrientje, Nikausie (Nicholas), Isaak, Jacob, Antje, Lena, Elizabeth, Marregrietjen and Catharine. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 72 on March 6th, 1803.-
