Christain Myers 
Christain was born on April 20th, 1751 in Shrewsbury/Sprin, York, Pa. Christain's father was Christain Meyer or Myers and his mother was Elizabeth Kauffman. His paternal grandparents were Hans Myer Moyer and Hans Moyer; his maternal grandparents were Andreas Kauffmann and Elizabeth Kneissley. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Andrew, Michael, Martin, Abraham, Henry, Elizabeth and Maria. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers named (Rev) John and Andrew Kauffman. He died at the age of 71 on June 18th, 1822 in Shenandoah Co, VA.General Notes
