(Rev) John MEYERS OR MEYER

(Rev) John was born on November 25th, 1748 in Shrewsbury, (Now Springfield) York, PA.  (Rev) John's mother was Elizabeth Kauffman.  His maternal grandparents were Andreas Kauffmann and Elizabeth Kneissley. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named John, Christain, Andrew, Michael, Martin, Abraham, Henry, Andrew Kauffman, Elizabeth and Maria.  He was the third oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 84 in June 1833 in Springfield, York, PA.  He was buried in Springfield Twp., York, Pennsylvania.
