Maria Meyer or Myers

Maria was born on July 1st, 1746 in Shrewsbury, York, Pa.  Maria's father was Christain Meyer or Myers and her mother was Elizabeth Kauffman.  Her paternal grandparents were Hans Myer Moyer and Hans Moyer; her maternal grandparents were Andreas Kauffmann and Elizabeth Kneissley. She had seven brothers and a sister, named John, Christain, Andrew, Michael, Martin, Abraham, Henry and Elizabeth.  She was the second oldest of the nine children. She had two half-brothers named (Rev) John and Andrew Kauffman.  She died at the age of 86 in June 1833.
