Martin Meyer 
Martin was born on November 7th, 1756 in Of Shrewsbury, York, PA. Martin's father was Christain Meyer or Myers and his mother was Elizabeth Kauffman. His paternal grandparents were Hans Myer Moyer and Hans Moyer; his maternal grandparents were Andreas Kauffmann and Elizabeth Kneissley. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Christain, Andrew, Michael, Abraham, Henry, Elizabeth and Maria. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers named (Rev) John and Andrew Kauffman.General Notes
