Richard Giffard 
Richard was born about 1530 in Itchell, Hmapshire, England and his baptism took place on December 2nd, 1571 in Chesham, Buckshire, England. Richard's father was John (Henry) Giffard and his mother was Joan (Johan) Brydges. His paternal grandparents were William Giffard and Eleanor Paulett; his maternal grandparents were Henry Brydges and Miss (Anne) Hungerford. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, George, Alice, Anne, Mary and Joane. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died on November 15th, 1568. He was buried on July 12th, 1580.-
