Her paternal grandparents were William Wilkie Galbraith and Elizabeth LAYTON. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Christopher LAYTON, ELMER J., Esma J., William J., Irel J., Mary J., Itha J., Erma J., ILA J. and Belva J.. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.-
