Samuel LAYTON 
Samuel was born about 1787 and his baptism took place on October 4th, 1789 in Northill, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND. Samuel's father was John LEIGHTON and his mother was Elizabeth Nottingham. His paternal grandparents were John LEIGHTON and Sarah COLLIP; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Nottingham and Mary SHORT. He had a brother and a sister, named Thomas and Maria. He died on March 21st, 1859 in KAYSVILLE, DAVIS, Utah.
They had two sons and four daughters, named Christopher, John, Bathsheba, Priscilla, Susanna and Avis.

Bathsheba LAYTON
Bathsheba was born on July 26th, 1812 in Millbrook, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND and her baptism took place there on October 18th, 1812. She died at the age of 51 on October 13th, 1863.
Priscilla LAYTON
Priscilla was born on June 24th, 1816 in Millbrook, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND and her baptism took place there on October 13th, 1816. She died at the age of 35 on January 31st, 1852.
Susanna LAYTON
Susanna was born on August 28th, 1818 in Millbrook, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND and her baptism took place there on October 19th, 1818. She was buried on May 8th, 1821.
Christopher LAYTON
Christopher was born on March 8th, 1821 in Thorncote, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND. He died at the age of 77 on August 7th, 1898 in KAYSVILLE, DAVIS, Utah.
Avis LAYTON
Avis was born in HATCH, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND and her baptism took place on September 19th, 1824 in Northill, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND. She was buried on May 12th, 1826.
John LAYTON
John's baptism took place on October 16th, 1814 in Millbrook, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND. He died on July 3rd, 1886.
