Erma J. was born on October 15th, 1903. Erma J.'s father was Christopher Layton Galbraith and her mother was Mary Heva JOHNSON. Her paternal grandparents were William Wilkie Galbraith and Elizabeth LAYTON. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Christopher LAYTON, ELMER J., Esma J., William J., Irel J., Mary J., Itha J., Heva J., ILA J. and Belva J.. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.-
